A multi-day driving rally on roads most people never find.
Once a year we pick a corner of the country, scout it for thousands of miles, and build a route worth driving. No timing, no trophies, just the best roads we can find and the cars you actually own. But the roads are only the reason to show up. The people are what you keep. You can't find the real thing on a screen. It's the opposite of a screen. You have to take the risk, get out there, and have the adventure. A few days driving hard country with the same group, in person, is where the genuine stuff happens. That's the part that lasts. That's what we are building.
Night Zero kicks things off, then three days on the road. You drive your own car the whole way, at your own pace.
A different region every year, scouted for months before anyone arrives. Past runs have crossed the Driftless, Appalachia, and the high desert of eastern Oregon.
We read every application by hand and make the calls in a room together. No algorithm, no checklist. We're not after the biggest field, just the right one.
The sum of every road we have ever driven
The Overcrest Rally is the sum of every road we have ever driven. Most are uninspiring. Just like you, we commute, we errand. But the contrast of those miles is what makes the good ones land.
We scout for months to find roads that earn the trip, then string them into a route you'd never build on your own. The point isn't speed. It's the drive, the place, and the people you end up in it with.
None of it works without our partners. They share the mission and make the event possible.
Every year, somewhere new
The Driftless. Appalachia. The high desert of eastern Oregon. Each one took some sacrifice to reach, and each one is the reason we went.
The roads change, the cars change, the group changes. What stays is the nostalgia you bring home, from the driving to the stories told at the end of the night.
