The Road to Air|Water

Overcrest and Air|Water

The Road to Air|Water

Thank you for coming to drive with Overcrest on the second annual Road to Air|Water, in partnership with Hagerty. Overcrest is a little bit different than most rallies — we don't do follow-the-leader formats. Instead, we curate routes that embrace discovery, and we hope you'll take the time to slow down and enjoy.

Exploration is a core value to us, and we hope you’re inspired to look around.

Please note: This is a driving event. Please do not trailer your Porsche during the event. This is a celebration of driving and the cars we love … IN MOTION.

Friday Morning Roll-Out

Arrive 6:00 - 6:30am / Launch 7:00am

pin iconHwy 62 and Hwy 177

Why meet way out here? We want to watch the desert sunrise with you without the distraction of gas stations, airports, and tourists. It's an extremely remote kickoff to send us south, around Joshua tree, to the Salton Sea. It's an interesting and unique area. Be respectful of those that call it home. The route down the sea runs parallel to it. There are little unique pockets, shops, and sights in this area for you to discover. Get off route and check it out.

Lunch Meetup!

Arrive 1:00 - 3:00pm

pin iconGarage 79

The drive ends with a late lunch, at the one-and-only Garage 79. They’re hosting a top-notch party with music, food, and plenty of beverage options available.

Have a friend that didn't come on the rally? Invite them up for lunch! Anyone is welcome to come hang in the afternoon.

After Garage 79, you're free to make your way towards Costa Mesa and the rest of the Air|Water weekend as you wish.

Gravel Routes

Optional “You’re on your own” Gravel Routes:

pin iconPalomar Divide Truck Trail

— If you’re up for it, the Palomar Divide Truck Trail is a nice gravel road. It's a challenging drive, with incredible views. If there is rain, beware: it can be slick and dangerous. If the gate is open, have a look if you’re up to the challenge.

pin iconNate Harrison Trail

— Another great gravel road worth checking out.

Please Note: It should go without saying, but please be aware that gravel roads can vary in grade, quality, and experience. Just because they were okay then, doesn't mean they’re okay now. Travel at your own risk.
